EVENT SUGGESTION POST

... This belongs on the OOC comm, but it will be moved/linked in the new FAQ when it happens.

This is where you drop off ideas for events or just to contact me if you have an idea in mind. I'll screen the comments just in case you want the ~event~ to be a surprise to other players and so on. (I will unscreen them for ultimate discussion times as your request.)

Please use this. Even if it's just a passing idea, I want your feedback, your ideas for repeats, and so on. There is a VERY good chance they will get use, so why pass it up?

FERRY (and docks)

- They are driven by gorillas in bus driver uniforms \o/.
- They are absolutely free of charge and you can use them any time. Just tell them where you want to go.
- They look like this. They were a 'Happy Late Birthday please don't bother me ever again' present from England.
- They travel to every island. They will (OBVIOUSLY) not drive outside of the barrier, etc etc.
- If you try to steal, hijack, or destroy one, you will get thrown into the ocean.
- If you try to steal, hijack, or destroy one, you will get thrown into the ocean.
- The sentence above needs a triple underline.
- They are usually parked a short distance away from the inn, in the docks (ALSO NEW) that were a gift from Spain for the same reasons as England.
-The docks are well equipped for holding any canon-brought vessel.

COLISEUM

- Located on Clam Island. The mindfuckery has been dealt with, and it is no longer present.
- The mountain has been hollowed out. It is now a coliseum, obviously! Think of the one in Kingdom Hearts. It's huge, it has seating for more people than we have on island, it has a concession stand with every single healing item you can think of. (Also snacks)
- The concession stand will charge you for healing items in your world's currency. So you do have to be careful.
- The Coliseum will read you. The moment you get in the arena it will spawn monsters from your world within the arena. If you fought people in your world, it'll spawn very realistic training dummies, according to your strength. It'll spawn boss fights on request.
- You can stop at any time, recharge, whatever.
- If you're more of a 'random encounters' person, the zombies still inhabit the forest area of Clam Island.

July 3rd-5th; We're not America, but Goddamn it, We Can Try
We have America on the island. It's his birthday and damn it, he calls for a celebration. The amusement park is back and in full swing with all its antics! There will be fireworks! Explosions! Michael Bay! Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum will crash into the volcano with an alien space ship! Every single food tree will be turned into cheeseburgers. America, fuck yeah!

July 10th-12th; You're On A Boat ... Again
Not quite the Titanic this time. Couples will find themselves handcuffed to a boat. This boat is going to circle the entire island and will not stop until the two kiss, thus freeing them from the handcuffs. And if that isn't bad enough, various sea creatures shall be serenading one character in the right direction while your partner remains oblivious, and if that's not enough, the boat will eventually veer off it's round-island course towards the ocean, and begin to fill up with water. IT'S KISS OR DIE. Enjoy that.

July 24-26; Wild Wild West
The Wild Wild West has taken over again! Palm trees are replaced with cacti, the Inn is now the Old Saloon and everyone is itching to draw pistols at dawn. The extent you have your characters get affected is up to you, whether you want them to act out the whole shebang or just, say, get in costume is up to you. Just watch out for bandits!

Guess what guys? It's time for a

VALENTINE'S DAY EVENT

Renge's newspaper isn't gonna miss the most rabu rabu day of the year so...! Here's how this one's going down, thank Seve for the best idea ever. ;w;

♥ After the newspaper is released, all people involved will either get a locked locket or a key. Girls get lockets, guys get keys. If it's guy/guy or girl/girl, up to you who gets the locket or key!
♥ From then until the end of Feburary 14th, your character has to find their locket to their key, the key to their locket, so on and so forth. Once you open the locket, there'll be a folded piece of paper inside. That paper will have directions to the prize for finding eachother!
♥ I'll actually leave the prize up to you. Just please keep it in the WHAT CAN I REALISTICALLY GET ON ISLAND spectrum, please. Do not want godmodding and etc.
♥ If your character neglects to do this, the locket and/or key will either explode or you'll suffer a penalty like usual in the newspaper events.
♥ This event will be announced in the newspaper durr \o_O/

This event will NOT be randomized, so use this post to find your partners! There's no limit on who to hook up so throw in entire casts just please only do this if you're willing to participate. The next newspaper I'm planning will be released December 1st. It will be an epic twenty page issue and will contain lots of nice things for everyone!

Now then, one thing I'm tossing up is the IC SECRET SANTA.

Heeeere is how this is going to work.

•You comment here, with all the characters you want involved. There is no limit! Throw in your entire roster if you want.
•I will take every character slapped on up here and organize them into a list. Once I have my full list, I will duplicate it, randomize it and your characters will each have someone they're giving a gift to, and someone who will be giving a gift to them!
•I will PM your character's livejournal account with the person they're giving a gift to. ICly, this is the equivalent of...say, getting a notecard with a name slipped under their door, taped to their hut door, drawn on their face while they're sleeping, etc. So feel free to post with that, whatever.
•Once I have PMed every account/your character has ICly gotten the name, your character has to go deliver a gift to them by December 25th. It cannot be anything bad or else they get the penalty for not giving a gift in the first place (Say, if Gokudera got Ikki in his secret santa, if he gave him snakes for christmas Gokudera would still get the penalty because he's a jerk)
•Your method of having your character give this gift is totally and completely up to you! Work it out with the mun and do it behind the scenes? Make a post calling out that character? Just do it by December 25th or at least have an IC way of getting it to them by then or...feel free to have your character suffer the penalty!
•Presents can be anything as long as they're...presents! Something useful, something nice, something cute. Whichever you want.
•This event will be announced in the paper along with the rules.

That's it! If your character plays nice, there's no bad thing in this event. *_* Everyone wins! ...maybe. Anyway, posting this early because this issue will take a while to make. \o/

Here's how this works for this issue:

+Fifteen pairs are chosen here. [this is subject to change depending on how many people are interested? If there are UNLIMITED PAIRING WORKS I'll probably just kick the limit altogether \o\;] NICE THINGS FOR EVERYONE because a limit seems kind of stupid in retrospect.
+Renge will have a section in the newspaper with messages to one person telling them where to meet their date and on what day for a ~romantic blind date~--Renge will send a note to the other half at a later date with the same information.
++If they do not do this, they suffer a penalty game not unlike Ikki and Gokudera's snakes \o/ (IT'LL SAY THIS ON THE NEWSPAPER SO WHOO INCENTIVE?)
+She totally sets up the area with mood music, romantic picnic food?? which may or may not contain the love berries, and all around classic romantic stuff IT'LL BE LIKE A PERFECT CHEESY ROMANCE FLICK.
+They have to be there for the whole date or at the very least stay with their date for the afternoon or whatever.
+You better believe that Renge will stalkstalkstalk.

SO BASICALLY what you wonderful people need to is--
♥ Comment here with a pair--be sure to TALK TO THE OTHER MUN before picking it, and make sure it's okay and all that good stuff.
♥ When Renge gets the paper out, you're free to do the blind date whenever or...the horrible penalty game whenever. HOPEFULLY YOU'LL PICK THE BLIND DATE.
♥ Aaand basically yeah you get to pick what happens from there on out.
